Minimum Effort / Maximum Results.

I get it.  Taking notes is hard.  You’re focusing on playing your character as the hero you want them to be, having great roleplay interactions with multiple player characters and NPCs, all while trying to remember the little hints, clues, and details your Gamemaster is trying to tell you.  It’s a lot.

We’re hit with so much information during a TTRPG session and it’s hard to know what we need to keep track of or what’s important. It gets overwhelming.  We forget to write stuff down like the name of that one guy that did that one thing at that one place.  You know, that one.

Note taking doesn’t have to be hard and a little guidance goes a long way.  By Breaking each session’s notes down with simple prompts this journal will help guide and organize what’s meaningful to your character and their journey.  I believe that keeping track of the small important things to your character can have a much bigger impact on the game then writing lots of notes.  It will act as a quick reference when you prepare for the next session so you can focus on playing the game and maximizing your experience at the table.

Oh, and I tossed in some character building tasks along the way.

Happy Adventuring,

Ryan O.
